Tablets

Today we used the school's brand new tablets during our Literacy Stations.
We used an app called Edudroid. It has lots of great literacy and numeracy games.

Sam Maguire

There was great excitement last week when the Sam Maguire cup visited our class! 

G.A.A

Last Thursday we started G.A.A with Barry. We learned a lot of new ball skills including throwing and catching. P.E is now changed to Thursdays. 

Self-expression day

What a fun day we had before the midterm. We made and wore our special crests. We also performed a song for the human rights concert. Sara is very proud of us all. 

Disability Audit

Human rights month

As part of Human Rights month we had a great workshop learning all about  Capoeira dance. Capoeira was invented by slaves and disguised as a dance to defend themselves. It is a mix of music, dance and acrobatics. 

Assembly

We had a great assembly with Fintan last week. He told us all about the quilt project. We learned so much from each square. What a great job to all involve.

We used mirrors to draw our self portraits  . We concentrated really hard and they turned out great!
